SILENT NIGHT IN ALGONA is character study that explores the dynamics of a small Iowa town from September through December 1944, during WWII.

Suffering from a debilitating back injury, a young farmer in 1944 Iowa comes up with a plan to use German POWs to save his corn harvest. However, his unconventional idea soon sparks fear, resentment and tension among the community.
